Easter Basket Project "Do it for the Kids"

On Behalf of The Imperial Court of Alameda and it's Board of Directors we would like to let everyone know the following Annoucement.
 
Childrens Hospital of Oakland
48 children went home with baskets from Children's Hospital IDC Clinic this week. and the remaining baskets (64) of them went to the Child Life Services at Children's Hospital for the kids that are in the hospital with life threatening diseases (ie: AIDS,Cancer etc.)
on behalf of the staff and Dr Petru Office they thanked us very much for all that we do every year for the Children of Children's Hospital.
 
East Oakland Community Project
The Baskets that where made from other Private Donations including other Contributions from Bernie,Don Richmond,Mama Sandy of Mama's Family,Yvonne Hogue of Tri-Valley Plastic Surgery and Members of the Court. where assembled by Empress 26 Niyah,Empress 28 Jessica Avalon, Emperor 23 Christopher and Prime Minister Tomas.
 
9 Children and their Families that will receive these  baskets at this housing unit will be waking up on Easter Morning to find that they have a Easter egg hunt supplied for them and when they return to their rooms they will find a Basket filled with toys,candy,games and much more. two of the Children where selected to have purchased for them an Easter outfit for Sunday.a Patron of the Vibe Lounge name Bernie Donated $50.00 for the  outfits for  the young Boy and Girl.
 
WE would like to thanks the efforts of the Patrons of the Vibe Lounge along with the Owners Lori and Susanne,The  Community of Alameda County and the Members of the Imperial Court of The Imperial Star Empire Inc. for Making this event Happen and we look forward to our next big event for the Kids of Alameda County.

 Celebration of Life Party for Absolute Dowager Empress XXII Lamonz Dupree

March 15th 2009

Lamonz Dupree was a very successful Empress and a wonderful member of her Community. She always made sure who ever needed help got it. From drag shows,social event,to his annual fish fry,all to raise money for charity. She also had a very creative side too,creating gowns for just about anyone who in her  words could come up with the "Coin" Girl!!, got something made from her. I am very pleased to have known my sister Empress Lamonz, and very honored by the many fashions made for me, and I know for many of you as well.I will miss her Greatly.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ALL OF US FROM THE 30TH REIGN

 It was a wonderful feeling bringing joy to the patients of Fairmont Hospital.For the past 20 something years the Imperial Court has gone to the hospital to visit and drop off presents to all the patients in the AIDS Ward for Christmas..

 

Who is Reychael Rios ? by Jessica Avalon      11-08

Reychael Rios Moved to the Bay Area just a few months ago. she has taken the county by storm she is such a talented perfomer. I first met her at the Bench & Bar Club in Oakland where she performs for a very captive audiance, they are always amazed and look forward to what she will do next.

Reychael has been a Special Guest Performer for many Events in the area of Alameda County.Resently she appeared for us at the celebration show in September. Since then, Reychael along with her husband of 15 years Ed Collins have been invloved with the Imperial Court from performances to holiday charity work.Reychael believes in giving back to the People in the Community that need it the most.

In her eyes, people who are in need because they maybe Sick or Hungury need encouragement from others, and when she's able to touch just one person and see a smile "it changes not only you but that person chances also "she says". Thank you Reychael Rios and Ed Collins for taking the time to give back.
